Got it as a gift for a friend who loves the genre. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Glad I finally picked this up.
I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Solid, if not essential.
Was skeptical at first. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. The cover feels thinner than expected. Recommended with reservations.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Great value for what you get.

First order from this shop. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
