📝 Description: Vampire Elona: An Avi Asher Novel

Cathey Langione presents a narrative centered on Elona, a vampire who has survived for four hundred years. She adheres to a strict code that forbids taking the blood of innocent or unwilling victims. The story shifts focus when Avi Asher’s wife, Shashana, falls victim to Count Wilhelm Frederich. This attack forces Avi to abandon his previous life and become a vampire hunter. He forms an alliance with Elona as they track down the rogue count. The plot moves through distinct settings, beginning with a cult killing in Key West. The characters then pursue their quarry to the heights of the financial world in New York City. Along the way, Avi encounters the lust and passion associated with fully turned vampires who have abandoned their leader’s rules. Langione explores the tension between ancient traditions and modern survival. The book suits readers interested in supernatural fiction where hunters and monsters must cooperate. It may not appeal to those seeking purely historical gothic tales without contemporary urban elements.
