Scary Stories To Tingle Your Lesbian Butt: Seven Tales Of Ladybuck On Ladybuck Terror
✍️ Chuck TingleA collection of seven queer horror tales featuring monstrous lovers in Sleepy Butthole.
The stories operate at the intersection of gothic folklore and contemporary queer erotica. Tingle utilizes the setting of a rural American town to ground his bizarre scenarios. The characters encounter entities that are both terrifying and sexually desirable, such as a sabertooth cat or a manifestation of Halloween itself. This approach subverts standard horror expectations by prioritizing sexual release alongside fear. The collection reflects a specific niche in independent publishing that challenges conventional boundaries between terror and arousal. It stands as a distinct example of modern genre-bending fiction that refuses to separate the two.
Published independently in 2020, this work sits within the tradition of American horror folklore and queer literature. It references cultural touchstones like Halloween and Friday the Thirteenth films, reimagining them through a lens of lesbian eroticism and absurdity.

I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Solid, if not essential.
Was skeptical at first. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little.
Was skeptical at first. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. Already eyeing my next order.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Shipping was quick too.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Well worth it.
A friend from my book club recommended it. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
