⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Still worth having on the shelf.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
A friend from my book club recommended it. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one.
This has been on my wishlist for months. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly.
