A graphic novel continuation of Stephen King's Aurora plague narrative focusing on dream worlds.
This volume expands the scope of the Aurora crisis by detailing the dual existence of its characters. Lila Norcross leads a new society in a dream realm, while Clint Norcross battles external threats in West Virginia. The plot hinges on Eve Black’s unique ability to bridge these two states and her intention to conduct a high-stakes experiment. King explores the tension between the allure of a perfect dream life and the harsh duties of reality. The story examines how relationships fracture under pressure and how society reorganizes when traditional structures fail. It is a study in resilience and the cost of survival for those left behind.
This graphic novel continues the Aurora saga set in Dooling, West Virginia. It blends supernatural horror with psychological thriller elements, reflecting contemporary anxieties about isolation and societal breakdown during unexplained global events.

Finally got around to ordering this. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. One of my better finds this year.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. A keeper.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Well worth it.
I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Five stars from me.
Finished it over a stormy weekend, which helped. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Happy enough with the purchase.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Still worth having on the shelf.
