⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn.
Needed a good scare and got one. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Already eyeing my next order.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The cover feels thinner than expected. Good, with the caveats above.
First order from this shop. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Happy enough with the purchase.
Finally got around to ordering this. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes. Solid, if not essential.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. Happy enough with the purchase.
