Been meaning to get this one for a while. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Definitely recommend.
Needed a good scare and got one. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. Definitely recommend.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. If you like this kind of cooking, don't hesitate.
