Finally got around to ordering this. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Happy enough with the purchase.
Was skeptical at first. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Five stars from me.
A friend from my book club recommended it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Still worth having on the shelf.
