📝 Description: The Devil Pulls the Strings
An FBI agent, with no memory of her past, with hands that melt human flesh. A former model turned escort, an insane killer whose blood poisons those it touches. Two subjects of a six-month experimental procedure in genetic modification die like all the others . . . but they don't stay that way thanks to a trip to the Otherworld arranged by demon sorcerer Gydion Wycke. In Book II of the Visitors from the Otherworld series, the gothic and erotic horror continues as only Julian DeVries can save the deadly assassins from themselves and stop Wycke from making more puppets to dance on his strings.

The novel delivers a potent mix of gothic romance and visceral horror, focusing on the tragic yet deadly nature of its protagonists. The exploration of genetic modification and demonic influence creates a unique subtext for the erotic elements, distinguishing it from standard paranormal romance. While the premise relies heavily on familiar tropes of cursed lovers and ancient evils, the execution emphasizes atmospheric dread and physical transformation. This work best suits readers who prioritize mood and character chemistry over intricate plotting, offering a stylish entry into dark fantasy that balances sensuality with genuine terror.
