⭐ Reader reviews

Was skeptical at first. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Recommended with reservations.
A friend from my book club recommended it. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Highly recommend.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Happy enough with the purchase.
