First order from this shop. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. A keeper.
Was skeptical at first. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Happy enough with the purchase.
First order from this shop. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Still worth having on the shelf.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. Great value for what you get.
First order from this shop. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. If you like this kind of cooking, don't hesitate.
