We Are Legend

Ward Nerdlo presents We Are Legend, a narrative set nine months after the Goblin Apocalypse. The plot centers on a group of gifted kids trapped within the walls of Camp King Stone, a summer camp designed for precocious children. With all adults dead and supplies running low, these survivors must venture into a monster-ravaged landscape to find food and other people. The story explores their struggle against extinction as they face tragedies in a world that has been left behind. This work draws on the pop culture mashup tradition, blending horror with themes of friendship and heart. Nerdlo, known for THE WICKED REX OF THE WEST, delivers a tale where no one is safe from the horrors lurking in every shadow. The book suits readers who enjoy supernatural fiction and post-apocalyptic scenarios involving young protagonists. It may not appeal to those seeking gentle or purely historical gothic tales without modern monster elements. The narrative structure follows the children's desperate quest for provisions. It examines the loss of innocence and the harsh realities of survival in a world overrun by goblins. The story relies on the tension between the safety of the camp walls and the dangers of the outside world. Readers will find a straightforward account of these kids fighting to stay alive against overwhelming odds.
