📝 Description: The Lineage

Mavis Deveraux presents a narrative centered on Tristan Faust, whose ordinary existence shifts after encountering Dorian and a nomadic tribe of vampires. The story follows Tristan over twenty years as he realizes the romanticized tales of vampiric life were deceptive. He finds himself dragged through American back streets during nightly hunting parties that leave trails of blood and violence. The plot intensifies when an unseen force kills a member of the tribe, causing panic and disarray among the group. As family members are torn apart one by one, Tristan uncovers the truth about his own familial lineage and the hidden motives of his Maker. Deveraux structures this gothic tale to explore the dark realities behind supernatural myths, focusing on betrayal and hidden heritage rather than glamour. This book suits readers who enjoy atmospheric horror and stories involving ancient bloodlines and moral ambiguity. It may not appeal to those seeking fast-paced action or clear-cut heroes and villains. The narrative relies on the tension between illusion and harsh reality within a supernatural context.
