Arrived quickly and well packaged. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Well worth it.
First order from this shop. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Solid, if not essential.
Was skeptical at first. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Glad I finally picked this up.
