Grabbed it for a long flight. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. One of my better finds this year.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Still worth having on the shelf.
Finally got around to ordering this. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Belongs in any working kitchen.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one.
