📝 Description: Killer Corn 2: Butter Watch Out!
More CORN. More PUNS. From horror author Scott Donnelly ("Creepy Project", "Mothman: Return to Point Pleasant", "Sea Devil", "Cheater, Cheater", "The Whool", "A Monster in Diner"), comes his latest horror/comedy novella, KILLER CORN 2: BUTTER WATCH OUT! "Husk! The Herald Angels SLAY!" Upon hearing the utterance of the surname he has been tasked with eliminating from the face of the earth, Husky, the man-cob is resurrected and escapes confinement, only to track down the remaining survivors of the Bitterroot Farms Massacre. 'Tis the season for bloody mayhem! KILLER CORN 2: BUTTER WATCH OUT! is the festive, second entry in the KILLER CORN TRILOGY. Look for the series to be completed by Summer 2025 with KILLER CORN 3.

Killer Corn 2 delivers a spirited entry in its trilogy, successfully merging corn-based absurdity with classic slasher tropes. The book excels in maintaining a consistent tone of festive chaos, using puns as a structural device rather than mere garnish. While the plot revolves around a resurrected husky tracking survivors, the strength lies in its commitment to the bit, ensuring the humor never undermines the horror entirely. It is best suited for readers who appreciate genre parody and comedic gore. The pacing feels brisk, catering to those with short attention spans or those seeking quick, seasonal thrills. It avoids deep psychological exploration in favor of pure, unadulterated fun.
