Needed a good scare and got one. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Great value for what you get.
First order from this shop. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Solid, if not essential.
Was skeptical at first. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Already eyeing my next order.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Five stars from me.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. Highly recommend.
