Dracula and Dracula's Guest
✍️ Bram StokerA combined edition of Bram Stoker's Dracula and his short story Dracula's Guest.
This collection presents two separate narratives by Bram Stoker. The primary text follows Jonathan Harker as he finalizes a land deal with Count Dracula in Transylvania. The Count later travels to London, where he turns Lucy into an Undead being and targets Mina. Jonathan returns to Transylvania to save his wife. The second part includes Dracula's Guest, another work by Stoker that explores similar supernatural themes. The edition offers these stories together for readers interested in the origins of vampire fiction and gothic traditions.
Bram Stoker wrote these works during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, establishing key tropes in American and British horror literature. The stories reflect Victorian anxieties about foreign influence and supernatural intrusion into domestic life.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes. Good, with the caveats above.
First order from this shop. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Glad I finally picked this up.
Finished it over a stormy weekend, which helped. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. If you like this kind of cooking, don't hesitate.
This has been on my wishlist for months. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Well worth it.
