McKeirnon delivers a brisk, dialogue-heavy experience that leverages the strengths of script formatting to highlight comedic timing. The juxtaposition of serious survival stakes with the absurdity of characters like 80s Dave creates a distinctive tone suitable for horror-comedy enthusiasts. While it lacks traditional prose immersion, the raw script format offers an engaging look at character development and plot pacing. This collection best suits viewers of the original web series or those who enjoy meta-narratives in horror. It succeeds in maintaining tension through dialogue rather than atmospheric description, making it a fun, accessible read for fans of genre-bending narratives.
