⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. The cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Five stars from me.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Finally got around to ordering this. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Would buy from this store again.
