Been meaning to get this one for a while. The binding held up to being carried around for a week.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Already eyeing my next order.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. Definitely recommend.
Was skeptical at first. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Still worth having on the shelf.
Needed a good scare and got one. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Glad I finally picked this up.

Perfect for devotees of vintage cosmic dread and collectors of classic occult literature who crave atmospheric storytelling. This set is ill-suited for those preferring modern, plot-driven thrillers or fast-paced action, as it demands patience for slow-burning psychological terror.
