⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. A keeper.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Solid, if not essential.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. The cover feels thinner than expected. Solid, if not essential.
