A friend from my book club recommended it. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Solid, if not essential.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Still worth having on the shelf.
Got it as a gift for a friend who loves the genre. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. The cover feels thinner than expected. Solid, if not essential.
