Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. Great value for what you get.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Five stars from me.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. Belongs in any working kitchen.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Well worth it.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Solid, if not essential.
