This has been on my wishlist for months. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Belongs in any working kitchen.
Added this to the shelf next to the ones I reread. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Solid, if not essential.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. The font runs small in this edition.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. The cover feels thinner than expected. Recommended with reservations.
