Been meaning to get this one for a while. Good introduction if you have not read this author before.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Got it as a gift for a friend who loves the genre. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Solid, if not essential.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Glad I finally picked this up.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on.
Finally got around to ordering this. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Well worth it.
