SPIDER - Fireworks Night: A Subterranean Creature Feature Survival Thriller

The fireworks were supposed to light up the sky. Instead, the vibrations woke up the ground. Beneath the lakeside tourist town of Cedar Bend, an abandoned coal mine has held a dark secret for nearly fifty years. Now, the biggest 4th of July celebration in county history is ringing like a dinner bell. As the explosions rock the earth, a massive colony of pale, cave-adapted predators is drawn to the surface. They hunt by vibration. And tonight, twelve thousand panicked vacationers are making Cedar Bend the loudest place on earth. With the roads webbed shut and the docks turning into a deadly trap, a traumatized former firefighter, a brilliant pyrotechnic technician, and a retired science teacher must descend into the pitch-black tunnels below the town. Their only hope is to use the remaining explosive shells to collapse the nest before the swarm consumes everyone above.
