Every Beat of My Heart: A Story of Love, Faith, and the Journey to Forever
A romance about a poet and a businesswoman connecting via phone.

Her visit to his community serves as the turning point for her decision to change her life. The text emphasizes grace and second chances within a Christian contemporary framework. It avoids complex plotting in favor of emotional development and character introspection. The structure supports a slow-burn romance that prioritizes internal growth over external conflict.
This 2025 release fits the Christian contemporary romance genre. It draws on traditions of inspirational fiction and small-town settings. The work reflects modern dating dynamics through technology while emphasizing traditional values of faith and commitment in relationships.

Been meaning to get this one for a while. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Good, with the caveats above.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little.
Got it as a gift for a friend who loves the genre. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Five stars from me.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. Highly recommend.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid.
Been meaning to get this one for a while. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Good, with the caveats above.
First order from this shop. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. A keeper.
