Wanted something for October and it delivered. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Would buy from this store again.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it.
First order from this shop. It pairs well with the classics it is clearly in conversation with. Already eyeing my next order.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Five stars from me.

This volume is for readers craving dread-laced narratives about ecological collapse. If you seek lighthearted escapism or pure supernatural fantasy without real-world stakes, this will disappoint you. Instead, expect grim, urgent tales that mirror our planetary anxieties through the lens of terror.
