📝 Description: Remote Beyond

Andrew Davie’s Remote Beyond follows four survivors on an Illinois farm as they defend against the undead. Tyler studies historical records to understand why the dead return. His research spans ancient Rome, Norfolk in the 1960s, Egypt in 524 B. C., and early American colonies. These periods reveal a pattern of resurrection events and subsequent cover-ups. Characters like Three Finger Tang, O'Hanlon, Poppy, and Apollo appear alongside new figures as they adjust to this new reality. The narrative weaves together these disparate eras to explore the mechanics of the apocalypse. Readers who enjoy historical fiction mixed with supernatural horror will find this series compelling. Those seeking standalone novels may prefer other titles. The book relies on Tyler’s archival work rather than action alone. It offers a unique perspective on the genre by grounding the horror in documented history. Fans of Davie’s previous works will appreciate the continuity and character development. The story asks if the truth behind the resurrection can ever be found.
