Wanted something for October and it delivered. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. Five stars from me.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Well worth it.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Not a jump-scare book; it gets under the skin and stays there. Shipping was quick too.
