Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way.
Finally got around to ordering this. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. One of my better finds this year.
A friend from my book club recommended it. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Still worth having on the shelf.
A friend from my book club recommended it. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. The prose is clean and the scares land because the characters feel real. Belongs in any working kitchen.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Good introduction if you have not read this author before. Glad I finally picked this up.
