Bram Stoker’s Miss Betty is a study in atmospheric development rather than suspenseful thrills. While it effectively examines how hidden talents emerge alongside sudden fortune, the text remains firmly rooted in its specific era and tone. It does not suit readers seeking fast-paced action or modern settings, as the narrative prioritizes subtle supernatural elements over explicit horror. The continuous novel format allows for immersion but may feel slow to those accustomed to contemporary pacing. However, fans of gothic fiction and psychological depth will find value in the detailed observation of social responsibility and personal transformation.

First order from this shop. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Highly recommend.

Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Glad I finally picked this up.
