Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Highly recommend.
I read a lot of horror and I'm picky. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The monster is scarier for how little you see of it. Great value for what you get.
Grabbed it for a long flight. It leans on old gothic bones and makes them creak convincingly. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Still worth having on the shelf.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way.
Wanted something for October and it delivered. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Glad I finally picked this up.
