GOAT MAN - The Bridge: An Appalachian Cryptid Suspense Thriller

Fifteen years after fleeing Harrowick County, Veda Sloane is dragged back into the past when her brother Lennox disappears. His truck sits abandoned on the dark asphalt, engine cold and driver door swung wide open. Inside, police find no struggle, but Veda uncovers a hidden journal documenting decades of missing locals, strange hoofprints, and impossible sounds echoing from the tree line. Lennox was hunting a predator born from forgotten local folklore. He believed a terrifying beast stalks the creek bed, possessing the biological ability to mimic human speech with chilling accuracy. It studies the vocal cadence of lost loved ones, whispering familiar names from the dark until its targets make the mistake of calling back. To pull her brother from the underground labyrinth, Veda must venture into abandoned agricultural facilities and flooded drainage tunnels. Something ancient is waiting beneath the earth, rehearsing Veda's own voice and setting a lethal trap. In these woods, survival depends on a single rule: never answer the call.
