This short story presents a stark, high-concept dilemma regarding cursed existence. While the premise of bi-weekly cannibalism for longevity is classic horror fare, the execution focuses heavily on internal philosophical conflict rather than visceral gore. It may not suit readers seeking rapid-paced action or straightforward jump scares; this text demands patience for its introspective tone. It is best appreciated by those who view horror as a vehicle for examining the human condition under supernatural pressure.
