📝 Description: Evening of the Mutated Undead: A Horror Novella

E Reyes presents a survival horror novella titled Evening of the Mutated Undead. The narrative focuses on Jeff, a small-time dealer residing in Arizona. The story unfolds during a relentless monsoon that follows initial UFO sightings in a shady neighborhood. This environmental chaos coincides with a zombie outbreak that defies standard genre expectations. The undead creatures in this tale possess a gruesome ability to mutate the bodies of their victims rather than simply consuming them. This blend of unworldly mutation and decomposition creates a heart-pounding atmosphere for the protagonist. The novella captures the tension of an ordinary evening turning into a nightmare scenario. It draws on traditions of body horror and supernatural fiction to explore the fear of the unknown. This book suits readers who enjoy gritty, localized horror stories with a focus on physical transformation and survival. It may not appeal to those seeking complex character studies or historical gothic settings. The narrative remains tightly focused on the immediate threat posed by the mutated undead in a modern, storm-swept setting.
