Was skeptical at first. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Still worth having on the shelf.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. The dread is in the pacing, not in gore, which is exactly how I like it. The font runs small in this edition.
A friend from my book club recommended it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. One of my better finds this year.
First order from this shop. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Good, with the caveats above.
A friend from my book club recommended it. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. Already eyeing my next order.
