A Darkness Unseen

An unspeakable act brought her there, where an unimaginable horror was waiting. High in the mountains, a blizzard smothers the light of the full moon. A car fleeing downhill loses control and crashes. Twenty-something Katie McGill stumbles from the icy wreck and finds shelter miles away at an isolated, two-story house hidden among the dark mountainside. All the lights are on. The fireplace is lit. The front door is unlocked. But no one is home. Exhausted from the trek, Katie thaws by the fire, waiting for the homeowners to return.
