Good addition to the shelf

Needed a good scare and got one. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. The audiobook crowd will want the paper copy for the margins. A couple of the side characters are thinly drawn. Still worth having on the shelf.

Almost perfect

A friend from my book club recommended it. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Gorier than the description lets on, if that matters to you. Solid, if not essential.
