Wolves Of God

Ian Murphy, in despair from the death of his mother, encounters an evangelist named Peter Stubbs. The direct descendant of Stumpf Peeter, a man executed as a werewolf in 16th-century Germany, Stubbs believes his kind are the hand of God's judgment and has drafted Ian as his chosen protege. During the following months, Ian unwittingly kills his best friend and the girl he loves, but rejects Stubbs and attempts to make a future for himself. Violence and tragedy follow all his efforts until he confronts Peter once and for all. Wolves Of God is a story about making your own destiny and finding your place in the world. The novel begins in a small Ohio town but ranges to the foothills of the Ozarks, a frigid Minnesota forest, an Indiana tourist community, and back to the rural environment where it began.
