First order from this shop. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes.
Ordered it for Halloween and it came in time. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. Shipping was quick too.
Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. It is the kind of horror that rewards reading with the lights on. The binding held up to being carried around for a week. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Was skeptical at first. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. A keeper.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Slow burn, but the burn is the point. There's real craft in how much is left unsaid. Great value for what you get.
