Not my usual subgenre but wanted to branch out. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. The font runs small in this edition. Recommended with reservations.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. The setting is practically a character, and a hostile one. Still worth having on the shelf.
Needed a good scare and got one. The ending is bleak and honest, not a twist for the sake of one. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Solid, if not essential.
