📝 Description: The New Kid
Jason Tanner is the new kid in town, starting a new school as a senior. His first day is the worst day. Everything goes wrong, including finding himself a target for the school's bullies. He eventually seeks help from a witch. Soon after meeting her, the dreams begin, dreams of killing the bullies one by one. And the bullies die in the way their deaths occur in Jason's dreams. Only the resident Mage, Carter Nash, can help. He becomes involved and discovers a network of magic, spells, curses, and evil. The Mage is Jason's only hope of surviving as The New Kid.

This book targets readers who prefer action-driven plots over deep character development or atmospheric dread. It will not suit those seeking literary depth, nuanced psychological horror, or intricate world-building. However, for casual readers looking for quick supernatural thrills and a clear hero-villain dynamic, it delivers the expected genre conventions without pretension. It is a functional piece of dark fantasy rather than a groundbreaking work.
