This has been on my wishlist for months. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. One of my better finds this year.
Grabbed it for a long flight. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. It assumes some familiarity with the genre's tropes. Still worth having on the shelf.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Genuinely unsettling in places, and it earns it without cheap tricks. Solid, if not essential.
Needed a good scare and got one. The atmosphere builds slowly and then does not let go. Solid, if not essential.
Took a chance on it after reading the description here. Some chapters are hard to read in the best possible way. Read it in two sittings; the second one ran past midnight. Would buy from this store again.
Grabbed it for a long flight. Print is comfortable for late-night reading. My only quibble is that the middle third sags a little. Happy enough with the purchase.
Bought this for my brother and ended up reading it first. A few scenes I will not forget, whether I want to or not. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted.
