📝 Description: The Feral Files

Rian Mileti delivers a modern horror narrative centered on Ace Callahan, a scientist who attempted to cure cancer by utilizing elephant DNA and its multiple p53 genes. His experiments involved fusing animal traits with forbidden serums, resulting in creations that twisted into nightmarish beasts. One such creature breaks loose, hunting with claw and hiss while retaining the ability to remember and call out names, specifically targeting Ace's daughter, Mavis. Mavis begins hearing whispers within the walls and observes people vanishing one by one. She takes it upon herself to hunt the monster born of this scientific hubris, armed only with her father’s twisted files. As she investigates, each step reveals a horrifying truth that draws her closer to the shadows. The story explores the consequences of playing god with biology and the visceral terror of a predator that knows its victim's identity. This debut work suits readers who enjoy supernatural fiction where science creates tangible monsters. It appeals to fans of gothic horror elements mixed with biological thriller aspects. Those seeking lighthearted entertainment or pure fantasy will find this narrative too dark and intense. The book stands as a grim examination of paternal legacy and the cost of unchecked ambition in the face of genetic experimentation.
