📝 Description: Reaper-Born Janus/Duel

Allen Gilliland presents a dark fantasy narrative centered on Collin Napier, a figure described as the child of Death. The story follows his struggle with an incubus that has torn free from his soul to hunt those he loves. To protect his family, Collin allies with the Black Label, a vicious gang fighting for control of the city. This alliance forces him to stain his hands with blood while navigating a war that threatens the earthly realm. Simultaneously, the character Absinth operates within Heaven after being exiled there. He unravels a conspiracy with drastic implications for the world below. The plot converges on the final battle of the Proving Grounds, a conflict that shakes the foundations of Paradise itself. The text contains scenes of violence and coarse language throughout. Gilliland qualifies as the author of this series, which includes other issues available under the Reaper-Born title. The work draws on gothic and supernatural traditions, blending demonic entities with urban gang warfare. It suits readers who enjoy intense, violent fantasy narratives involving moral ambiguity and celestial conflict. Those seeking gentle or purely historical fiction may find the content too harsh. The narrative structure weaves together earthly struggles and heavenly conspiracies to drive toward a climactic confrontation.
