📝 Description: Outbreak

Shaun Herbert’s Outbreak presents a narrative where global chaos ensues due to a deadly virus. The story examines whether this epidemic is a predicted event or something more sinister. As society collapses, a New World Order emerges, leading to the merciless destruction of those labeled infected. This action unfolds across the UK, driven by protagonists Dan Lucas and Jon Derrer. Lucas brings expertise from the royal navy communications sector, while Derrer serves as a specialist police firearms officer. They confront rampant madness with assistance from beyond the grave. The book operates as a paranormal thriller focused on survival against insanity. It targets readers who enjoy fast-paced supernatural fiction involving military and law enforcement characters. Those seeking historical accuracy or non-fiction accounts of real pandemics will find this work unsuitable. The narrative relies on fictional speculation rather than documented events. Herbert constructs a plot where the true nature of the outbreak remains hidden until the end. This approach appeals to fans of genre blending who prefer action over political analysis. The text avoids complex scientific explanations, focusing instead on character-driven conflict and supernatural elements. Readers interested in straightforward horror or pure military tactics may find the paranormal aspects distracting. The story does not offer solutions to real-world health crises but provides entertainment through fictional crisis management.
