Night Creeps: An Adult Horror Story

Sheriff Lamar Whittington and Deputy Johnny Watkins investigate a series of mysterious deaths in Parmissing Valley. The small midwest town becomes the site of an alien invasion that includes a mutant army and human-alien hybrids. Lamar left a big city for this simple life, only to find himself fighting to save the human race from these extraterrestrial threats. Michael d'Ambrosio brings his background in the military and nuclear industry to this narrative. He has participated in over one hundred sci-fi and literary conventions across the country. This title is the first of two books, followed by Night Creeps 2. The story blends horror with science fiction elements, focusing on law enforcement dealing with impossible circumstances. Readers who enjoy creature features and small-town mysteries will appreciate this work. Those seeking literary fiction or slow-burn psychological horror may find the premise too direct. The book targets fans of action-oriented supernatural tales. d'Ambrosio’s experience informs the technical details of the alien technology and military response strategies described in the text.
