Interwoven 2 Jacob's Story: YA Supernatural Suspense Thriller

Jacob Whitmore faces a junior year defined by relentless bullying from Jeff Whitmore. The situation shifts when a spellbook appears in his backpack. He finds a ritual to deal with an enemy and uses household items to cast it. The result is not what he expected. An evil entity resembling Jacob emerges, and Jeff is dead. Jacob realizes his careless mistake has summoned danger rather than solving his problems. He fears others may die because of this error. More spells in the book could stop further deaths, but he needs help before attempting more rituals. T Atkins writes this young adult supernatural suspense thriller. The story focuses on high school dynamics and the consequences of using forbidden magic. It draws on traditions of spellcasting and summoning rituals common in gothic fiction. The narrative follows Jacob as he tries to undo his actions. Readers who enjoy tales of magical mishaps and teen horror will find this appealing. Those seeking historical accuracy or non-fiction will not connect with this fictional account. The book is organized around Jacob’s attempts to manage the entity he summoned. It explores themes of guilt, power, and supernatural intervention. The tension builds as Jacob decides whether to use more spells from the text.
